  I will never forget the blissful expression on her face the day I was born. It all took place in the emergency room where my mother stared at me in exhilaration and relief. It was such a beautiful moment in her life, holding me in her arms.

  As I look back at my childhood I really appreciate what my family has done for me and all the struggles we lived through, for it has made me the person I am today. I look toward my future with excitement. I know there is still so much more for me to do as an individual, and I look forward to the opportunities that are ahead. The opportunities to keep my family proud, and the opportunities to enhance the quality of my life and the lives of those close to me are boundless.
